My name is Elisa Breger, 15 years old and a student at the Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen.

I live near Nijmegen and am now in my fourth year of middle school. Besides school, I like to do things with friends and I play rugby three times a week. I like to take pictures of things in nature, the beach and the sea in my spare time, or just hang out with my friends, because I always have a lot of fun with them. In addition, I like to listen to music and to make music and I like to have a lot of fun and laughter, but also relax and time for myself. Despite my busy days, people often find me cozy and energetic. 

I work hard. I think that's important; get the best out of myself, that is also one of the reasons why I want to join School at Sea; to get the best out of myself and to get to know other cultures.

In class 1 I attended a sailing camp organized by school. Here I came into contact with sailing. I have experienced this as one of the best weeks from my school time so far and I have enjoyed sailing very much. Since this sailing week, I have been going sailing for a weekend with friends more often and found it super fun again and again.

I think it's important to do things for others. I would like to help people and I have donated my hair several times to Stichting Haarwensen and I shaved my head and raised money for KIKA.

I would like to join School at Sea to get to know myself better and to develop myself. I also want to expand my worldview by being part of other cultures. School at Sea is going to make this possible for me, but I do need your help!
